Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MyAstro.pro handles personal data for account access, astrology profiles, AI-assisted consultations, subscriptions, support, notifications, analytics, security, export, and deletion.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

MyAstro.pro is operated by the developer or legal entity identified in the app store listing, checkout receipt, or support channel for the service. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to support@myastro.pro. General support is available at support@myastro.pro, and billing questions can be sent to support@myastro.pro.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the data reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. This may include:

  • Account data, such as email address, authentication provider, password hash, session identifiers, and account status.
  • Astrology profile data, such as date of birth, time of birth, birth place, latitude, longitude, time zone, and profile completion state.
  • Consultation data, such as questions, AI-assisted answers, saved conversation history, thread summaries, and account-linked memory facts used for continuity.
  • Subscription and purchase metadata, such as plan, entitlement status, renewal or expiry state, checkout references, store product identifiers, and refund or dispute review records.
  • Usage, security, and diagnostics data, such as feature interactions, quota usage, request timestamps, route or device context, error events, rate-limit records, and fraud-prevention signals.
  • Notification and marketing preference data, such as campaign exposures, clicks, dismissals, conversion events, browser push subscription endpoint, and notification permission state where enabled.
  • Support data, such as emails, request details, attachments you choose to send, and metadata needed to verify and resolve your request.

3. Why we use data

We use personal data for app functionality, personalization, security, billing, support, analytics, legal compliance, and user-requested export or deletion. Examples include signing you in, generating astrological consultations, restoring saved history, applying subscription access, preventing abuse, sending account or billing notices, measuring product reliability, responding to privacy requests, and keeping records required by law.

4. AI and astrology processing

To generate a consultation, we process your astrology profile, question, selected period, conversation context, and generated interpretation. Some consultation requests may be sent to model providers or infrastructure providers solely to operate the service. Do not enter medical records, payment card numbers, government IDs, passwords, secrets, or data about another person unless you have permission to use it.

5. Third parties and sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only as needed for service functionality, legal compliance, security, or user support. Service providers may include hosting and database providers, authentication providers, email providers, model providers, location lookup providers, analytics or diagnostics providers, Stripe for web checkout, and Apple App Store or Google Play for mobile subscriptions. These providers may process data in other countries and must protect data under appropriate contractual, technical, and legal safeguards.

6. Payments and store subscriptions

Web checkout is handled through Stripe. Mobile subscriptions may be handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may store payment and subscription metadata needed to confirm access, display plan status, manage renewals or cancellations, review refunds, prevent fraud, respond to disputes, and meet tax or accounting obligations. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are managed through the store account that made the purchase.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal data, including HTTPS, access controls, authentication safeguards, rate limiting, logging minimization, and deletion or anonymization flows. No online service can guarantee perfect security. Please keep your sign-in credentials confidential and contact support if you suspect unauthorized account access.

8. Cookies, local storage, and notifications

The web app may use browser local storage, session storage, service workers, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember account state, resume conversations, deduplicate checkout or marketing events, and support push notifications where you opt in. You can clear local browser storage or revoke notification permission in your browser or device settings, but doing so may sign you out or disable some features.

9. Retention and deletion

We keep account, profile, consultation, and subscription data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account-linked profile, consultation, memory, notification, marketing, and usage records where feasible. We may retain limited records when required for billing, tax, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, rate-limit integrity, audit logs, or to prove that a deletion request was completed. Export links, if generated, are intended to be short-lived.

10. Your privacy rights and account controls

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data; withdraw consent; opt out of marketing; or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. You can use account settings, password reset, data export, and account deletion from the product, including/account/exportand/account/delete. You may also contact privacy support at support@myastro.pro.

11. Children and minors

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use paid features. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to the service, contact privacy support so we can review and delete it where required.

12. Tracking, ads, and sensitive data

We do not sell personal data and do not use astrology profile data, birth data, consultation content, or health-like user statements for third-party targeted advertising. If we introduce third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or materially different analytics, we will update this policy and provide any consent or platform disclosure required by law, Apple, or Google.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, laws, or platform requirements change. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated through the product or by email. The current effective date is shown in the release note on this page.
